Dr. John Iliadis

John is a Technology & IT Security Director with more than 20 years of experience in leading the operation and transformation of 24/7 digital infrastructures, enabling cyber-resilient services for tens of thousands of users, delivering informed risk choices towards profitable outcomes, attracting talent and developing versatile teams.

He is currently leading the IT Infrastructure Business Unit at TEIRESIAS S.A., which encompasses the functions of CyberSecurity, IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure & Operations. He is also currently serving as a Board Member of (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter, jointly winning with other Board Members the 2022 (ISC)2 Global Achievement Award for this Chapter, being the most impactful in the EMEA region toward advancing the CyberSecurity profession and increasing CyberSecurity awarness.

His proven track record of more than 20 years has been diverse; conducting basic and applied research on Information Security, developing commercially used digital signatures software, system & network administration of financial IT infrastructures, consulting on data privacy issues, designing security architectures, performing information risk management and demonstrating thought leadership in the digital trust space.

The last 10 years he has been leading teams that run IT & CyberSecurity Operations, design CyberSecurity and Data Privacy controls and perform paradigm shifts of IT infrastructures, ensuring that business goals are achieved on time, on budget and on quality.

His published research work includes more than 20 international journal papers, conference papers and book chapters, which have been cited more than 300 times. His academic degrees include a PhD and an MSc in Information Security, a BSc in Computer Engineering, academic diplomas and certificates in Management, Negotiation and Business Administration. He is a Chartered Manager and maintains the CMgr MCMI, CISSP-ISSMP, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, CCSK, CSSLP, SSCP, COBIT , ITIL and DPO Executive certifications.
